Toothbrush - Medium

Millions of plastic toothbrushes are thrown away every year. The toothbrushes that end up in the waste can hardly be recycled. And those that end up in nature remain for at least decades. Doing nothing about this only increases the damage. Be aware and therefore move away from plastic.

Switch to bamboo. The bamboo toothbrush is almost entirely biodegradable. Only the bristles should not go in the rubbish. These are made of nylon 610. So use pliers to break off the head with bristles and throw it in the rubbish. Nylon 610 requires castor oil from the castor tree. Converting castor oil into nylon 610 is already many times more sustainable than the process of normal nylon, which uses petroleum, but unfortunately does not yet ensure 100% biodegradable hair.
